Privacy Policy
Last updated: 10 October 2026
The short version: Weekwall does not collect any data. There is no account, no server, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. Everything you see and enter in the app stays on your iPad.
Who we are
Weekwall is an iPad app made by Furkan Yeşildağ, an independent developer (“we”, “us”). If you have any question about this policy, write to yesildag5656@gmail.com.
What the app uses, and where it stays
Weekwall works entirely on your iPad. It has no servers of its own, and the developer never receives the information below.
Your calendars (only with your permission)
To show your family’s week, Weekwall reads events from the calendars already set up on your iPad (for example iCloud, Google or Outlook accounts added in the iPad’s Settings). It does this through Apple’s EventKit framework, on the device. When you add an event from the wall, it is saved to the calendar you choose, and that calendar’s provider syncs it as it normally would, under its own privacy policy. You can turn calendar access off at any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Calendars.
Reminders (optional, Plus)
If you turn on Reminders sync for the shopping list, Weekwall reads and updates the one Reminders list you choose, again through EventKit on the device. Apple’s iCloud keeps that list in sync with your other devices and with anyone you have shared it with. You can stop syncing in the app, or turn access off in Settings › Privacy & Security › Reminders.
Photos (optional, Plus)
For the photo frame, you pick photos with the system photo picker. The app only receives the photos you pick, and copies them into its own private storage on your iPad. They are never uploaded anywhere. You can remove them in the app at any time.
What you type in
Family members’ names and colours, routines, chores, stars and rewards, meal plans and recipes, shopping items, notes and settings are stored only in the app’s local storage on your iPad.
Purchases
Weekwall Plus is a one-time in-app purchase. Payment is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not see or receive your name, Apple Account, payment details or address. The app only receives confirmation from Apple that Plus is unlocked on your device. Apple’s handling of your purchase is covered by Apple’s Privacy Policy.
What we do not do
- We do not collect, store, sell or share any personal data.
- There is no sign-up, login or user account.
- There are no analytics, crash-reporting, advertising or tracking tools in the app, and no third-party code that collects data.
- The app does not connect to any server run by us. The only network connections come from Apple’s own services (such as the App Store and iCloud sync of your calendars and reminders) and from web pages you choose to open, such as this one.
Backups
Like other iPad apps, Weekwall’s data on your iPad may be included in your iPad’s iCloud or computer backups. Those backups are made and protected by Apple under your own Apple Account, not by us.
Keeping and deleting your data
We hold no data about you, so there is nothing for us to delete. On your iPad, you can remove your family and settings with Settings › Reset everything in the app, and you can remove everything the app has stored, including copied photos, by deleting the app. Your calendars, reminders and photo library are not affected by either.
Children
Weekwall is a family organiser that parents or guardians set up and manage. It is not directed to children, although children may use the wall display at home, for example to tick off their chores. Any names or details you enter about your children stay on your iPad. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Your rights
Data protection laws such as the GDPR and Türkiye’s KVKK give you rights over personal data held about you. Because we do not process personal data through the app, there is normally nothing for us to access, correct or delete. If you email us, we use your email address and message only to reply, and delete the conversation once it is no longer needed.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. We will never start collecting data without updating this policy and the app’s App Store privacy details first.
